Judith’s interest in and love of getting people singing has grown organically in many unexpected directions. She has a deep awareness of the power of singing to heal and bring solace to people of all kinds, in all moments of life; but even more so when we are ill or challenged in some way.
Previously taking on the role of singing leader for a Singing for the Brain group, and the founding of Companion Voices, are direct results of her long-term work in day centres, hospitals and nursing homes as well as her own spiritual development and beliefs. She is committed to using her experience and passionto serve the members of the community who need it most.
Contrary to what we might think, though these groups are emotive and emotional – and all feelings are welcome – much of the experience is light, affirming and joyous.
